New Single Release! ODE TO JOY - The Eric Evans Project
?Musician's Bio:
You’ll love his lustrous-jazzy touch on this eternally adored classic, “Ode to Joy”! This refreshed arrangement was given new inspiration with insights from Gary Santo-Pietro, (an integral part of Evans’ live shows and played Acoustic Guitar on the Track). David Eugene Ivey and Eric collaborated for the final arrangement, mix, and vibe with the addition of modern and classic orchestration, keys, and smooth synths! Accomplished bassist Ian Martin (Barry Manilow, Brian Simpson) lays down the essential bedrock on acoustic bass, Dan Needham takes point on drums (Michael McDonald, Kenny Loggins, Jonathan Butler… to name just a few) And, to add next level zest, Billboard Chart topping Adam Hawley appears with keyboards and acoustic guitar! Adam Hawley Productions brings it all together!
Set your heart free from the hustle-bustle this winter season and take a drive to the coast! Let Eric Evans flute put an “Ode to Joy” in your heart as you enjoy nature’s reflections on the gifts of life!

Alan Bookman
Songwriter, Entertainer
https://www.facebook.com/Alangbookmanmusic
Alan Bookman grew up in “South Jersey” in Willingboro, NJ. He has been playing piano most of his life; his Dad started giving him lessons at age 4 or 5. But Alan and his dad had a disagreement over practice habits when Alan was about six, and that put a temporary hold on Alan’s career in piano. He got sidetracked with some other instruments in middle school, such as trombone and guitar. But he returned to piano in the early 1970s through rock and roll, and joined many bands in high school playing keyboard. A high school career highlight was a summer he spent employed as the keyboardist for the house band at the Windsor resort in the Catskills.
He continued playing keyboard with rock bands in college.
Alan’s college career was interrupted when he was grievously injured in a car accident by a hit and run driver in Cleveland, Ohio in 1977. He was hospitalized for five months and had to relearn basic life skills such as walking, eating, reading, and math skills.
In the ensuing decades after recovering his musical abilities, Alan joined or launched several “comeback” bands.
Employed by the NJ Department of Environmental Protection for 39 years, he was sometimes asked to participate musically at department events, where he developed minor celebrity status for his specialty, writing and performing parodies of various rock songs tailored to particular events.
In the 2010s Alan sat in regularly with shows given by Frank Pinto, a performer from Trenton, NJ. Frank produced Alan’s first CD entitled, “I Want Applause,” which was released in 2020. Frank also backs Alan up on vocals, guitar and keyboards on the album.
About Hobbies
Riddle us this: What's the most geektastic thing you choose to do in your spare time? Are you a big-time gamer? A gardener? A Comic Con fiend whose loyalty falls on one side of the DC-Marvel spectrum? The way we spend our time outside work is as varied as our personalities, and let's face it, we're all nerds about something. Maybe your browser history shows you're bidding on a Star Wars action figure or a lamppost for your Lionel train layout. Perhaps your preference for the paranormal means you download every episode of America's Most Haunted. No matter your guilty pleasure, BlogTalkRadio allows hobbyists to geek out together on whatever it is they gravitate – or levitate – toward. Talk shop with bloggers, critics, even blog critics, on what matters to you, or steer the conversation by hosting your own niche show. Oh, and it probably goes without saying, Trekkies welcome here.
