So many questions. Premarital counseling never prepared you for the lonely nights, heartaches, and the many decisions. It doesn’t matter whether the marriage was long or short, the loss was from a long illness or an unexpected accident, or how much money is or is not in the bank. What matters is that the person that you married, shared secrets with, made love with, laughed with, been angry with, and a host of other scenarios is not here. TNC gives widows a unique connection with others who understand why his clothes are still in the closet, his name is still on the bank account, and grocery shopping is so difficult. Widows are loved! • ScienceTalk Wednesdays: NeuroMelanin, NeuroTransmitters, Melatonin , Serotonin..

    in Women

The Pineal gland secretes melatonin (through the conversion of serotonin) which activates the pituitary gland to release MSH (melanocyte stimulating hormone).  It is in the melanocytes that melanin is produced. The Pineal gland is the first gland developed in your body, and appears in homo-sapiens a mere 3 weeks after conception. There are 5 things that the Pineal gland is responsible for:
Inner Eye – Sensing light and darkness Biological Clock – Tell our bodies when to do its functions Pacemaker – Sets the pace or rhythm for the body Compass – Helps us orient ourselves Production and Secretion of 2 biologically key hormones:
The Pineal gland is responsible for producing & secreting the hormones Serotonin & Melatonin. Serotonin is secreted during the daylight hours, Melatonin is secreted in night time hours. These hormones work inversely. The Pineal gland is influenced by several things that allow it to function properly:
Light, more specifically natural sunlight Temperature Food, particularly green raw vegetable (because of chlorophyll, which is plant melanin) Sleep, this is particularly important for the production of Melatonin. Science has shown a direct correlation between night and the secretion of the hormone Melatonin, it reaches it’s max at midnight. It is important to note that Melatonin is meant to be produced and secreted at night while sleep. Therefore, a decrease in Melatonin or too much Melatonin production during the daylight can cause depression.

  • Part 3: CUTV News Radio Welcomes Back Rene Murata of CEOEssence

    in Women

SPRING, TX - Rene is an entrepreneurial success four-times-over (including a safety/risk consultancy and a fashion line for the businesswoman), and her latest endeavor is known as CEOEssence. Her brilliant coaching practice is aimed at helping people, particularly women, to strengthen the diverse set of skills, business tactics, and intuitive understanding that comprise a leader.
Rene was always the person they came to for advice, opinions, ideas and brainstorming. She also mentored professionals, including those who’d been in business or a topnotch role longer than she. So, the mission of helping others better understand and grow their business came naturally. Rene paid no attention to clichés on how to fit into a man’s world yet had still been a success! It was high time to share her knowledge, experience, theories and achievements with others. Listen in to hear all her ideas and pointers.
Sharing knowledge openly, without fear, is one method Rene finds crucial for executives. She says people are also at their CEO best when they are collaborative instead of competitive, delegate wisely, recognize individual strengths and celebrate others’ accomplishments. CEOEssence further emphasizes visceral ways to listen and new ways communicate.
CEOEssence training is available remotely by appointment, and for those with limited time (most aspiring CEO’s time is precious) as a set of online videos. Listening, communicating, mentoring, decision-making, delegating and fine lines are the title and focus of the different video modules.
Rene believes women are special and intuitive creatures, and if we can tap into that and combine it with proven strategies, we can become more effective in business.

  • Spiritual Gifts And Their Functions:

    in Women

The Benefits of Knowing Your Purpose, Your Gifts and Your Call
What Are The Benefits Of Knowing What God’s Purpose Is For Your Life
We All Have At Least One Spiritual Gift.  What is/are yours?
Everyone has a purpose for being here on the earth.  God gave you a purpose before He placed you in your mother’s womb. Jeremiah 1:5:“I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. Before you were born I set you apart...
Just like Jeremiah, God wanted and needed you and I to be born;  for He had a special assignment for each one of us to do.
Some people know what they are called to do, and is doing it, but the  majority of the people never knew what God called them to do.
    Why?
One reason could be they never knew they had a purpose.
The never had the proper teaching on the calling of God,
or they went to the wrong church instead of seeking God for where He wanted them to go so they can receive the proper training, they went where momma/daddy went.
and/ or some are rebellious and do not want to know nothing about God.
There are many reasons why, but here are the main ones that I believe is the reasons for not knowing and walking in your call.
