This Is It: Our Final Episode of Soulful Conversations Radio

    in Women

It has been a pleasure coming into your homes, offices and cars for the past 10 years with my online radio show (podcast) Soulful Conversations Radio Talk Show. I started this show September 2, 2008 for two reasons. 1. I wanted to share powerful, rich and transformative information and stories with my audience/followers. 2. I knew that podcasts would be coming of age and I've always tried to keep my finger on the pulse of what's happening and always made sure I was in front of a trend and not behind it. In 2008, I definitely was in front of the trend. Podcasts were birthed around 2004, but it became serious business around 2015. Over the years, I've had the pleasure of interviewing celebrities, authors, ministers, artists, speakers, leaders, consultants, coaches, experts, and some down home men/women who had opinions to share with us. We've had guests from Israel, London, Australia, Kenya, Canada, Jamaica, and all across the US to grace us with many interesting soulful conversations. We have discussed everything from politics, religion, business, education, health, marriage, sex, secrets, domestic violence, vision, purpose, God, family, dating, relationships and more. I have even had my entire family come on and we shared our ups and downs as a blended family. I've been transparent...shared my pains, my worst nightmares, my hopes, passions and dreams with people literally all over the world. To my loyal listening audience, you have been the driving force behind this show. Your call in questions, shares, comments, refutes, rebuttals and debates have all been so refreshing. The emails and show ideas have all been the reason why we lasted this long. We love you and are forever grateful for your support.

CUTV News Radio spotlights Kerrie Halmi of Halmi Performance Consulting

    in Women

Oakland, CA – Halmi is the founder of Halmi Performance Consulting, where she specializes in executive coaching, leadership development and team development with an emphasis and expertise in women's leadership specifically.
“Coaching women's leadership is all about looking at what your goals are, what you want to do, what you're good at, and bringing more of that to your job,” says Halmi. “It’s about having the confidence to own your leadership.”
Halmi launched Halmi Performance Consulting in 2001 based on her background in human resources and her passion for helping people become better leaders.
Research that says confidence matters more than competence in terms of success. Halmi says the clients she works best with are high-potential woman, already in leadership positions, whose companies want them to continue to succeed.
“What I see so often, even among women who have ‘made it,’ is a lack of confidence,” says Halmi. “Getting women to speak up and be heard is a huge part of our work.”
To address this issue, Halmi has developed her six-month program the Platinum Exchange to look at what has been stopping them.
“I've been encouraged because now women just say from the beginning, ‘I lack confidence and I know I'm going to do a better job when I have the confidence,’ says Halmi. “The reason I keep doing these programs is we see such a difference with the women when they start with us and when they end with us. They’re shining.”

We learn about relationships from our mothers, fathers, teachers, coaches and society. These beliefs and behaviors that we learn influence our relationships. Are these beliefs helping or hindering your relationships? One question to ask yourself is: Are my relationships working the way I need or desire?
